First it was doctor pimple popper, now it is pimple-popping cupcakes!
If your a fan of cupcakes and maybe not zit popping, it is probably best to avoid the footage that was uploaded to Facebook which has gone viral, they are edible cupcakes and we suspect you are going to have a sneak peak anyway, see video below.
“They wanted pimple cupcakes you could squeeze. I remembered seeing a picture circulating online about some pimple cupcakes and figured I could take a shot at it,” Jackson told 9Honey Kitchen.
The clever baker proceeded to whip up the most sickeningly realistic pimple popping treats we’ve ever seen, complete with pale cream cheese ‘puss’ and a clear, shiny gel icing “to get the oozy look”.
“They are fairly simple as cupcakes go. Just cream cheese icing with a fondant top for the ‘skin’,” Jackson said.
The fondant even has a sore-looking reddish tinge around the pimple, for added realism (gross).
The nauseating clip, shared on October 3rd, has already racked up more than 250,000 shares, and over 37,000,000 views, and it seems from the comments on the post that people are at loggerheads over whether to love or hate these pimple popping cupcakes.
“Ok this is pushing it,” one commenter writes.
“I draw the line at edible zits,” another agrees.
“Who’s about to eat some sh-t like this,” one critic writes, tagging a friend, while another admitted, “I wouldn’t b able to eat it [sic].”
But many have taken to Facebook to praise Jackson for the humour and creativity behind the treat.
“I’m getting you this,” one person writes, tagging a friend, and capping off the post with multiple laughing face emojis.
“That is disgusting, but I’d still eat it,” one sweet tooth chimes in, while another cupcake fan expresses their interest in trying the treat, “I want it I need it order me a dozen!!!!!! [sic]”.
Aspen Jackson is a 34-year-old, stay-at-home mum who has been running her bakery business, Gracie Pearl Confections, from her family home in Skiatook, Oklahoma, USA since 2015. For more information, visit the official Facebook page.
