A 23-year-old makeup artist from Los Angeles knows exactly what he wants. He has just asked plastic surgeons to remove his genitals so he can finally achieve his dream of looking like and feeling like a genderless alien. But the plastic surgeons have refused to abide his strange request and claim that it may be impossible.
But Vinny Ohh refuses to listen to their naysaying. He demands that someone remove his genitals so he can achieve the thing he says he always desired.
In line with his mission to become a “genderless alien,” Ohh has already invested more than $60,000 to complete the transaction. And Ohh is refusing to quit despite what the doctors and surgeons tell him.
Ohh has spoken up to tell the world that his next surgery will be the most dramatic shift in his life to date. He wants to have his genitalia completely removed, so he no longer has to be either male or female. He wants to be genderless and free from the limitation of society’s gender roles.
Although he has worked toward his goal, plastic surgeons are not confident that this operation can be performed. But if it is done, they are certain he would be the first person in the world to go “genderless” purposely.
A renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Simoni told reporters that Ohh’s requested procedure would be highly controversial. Dr. Simoni is not against helping Ohh achieve his dream of being a “genderless alien,” but he does not want to put the 23-year-old at risk. Removing the young man’s genitalia could have untold consequences on his body’s biochemistry.
Dr. Simoni said, “The experimental nature of the procedure means it is highly risky and it could also impact on basic bodily functions such as Vinny’s ability to urinate. This procedure has not been done yet. It’s totally new territory. This would be a brand new procedure and if something happens or there are complications, we don’t have any idea how to address it. Also, the sexual organ is also a tool to urinate. There are muscles that hold the urethra and prevents not only the urine flowing out but also the bacteria going back up.”
Dr. Simoni wants what is best for his patients. And because he is not sure this procedure can be done safely, he is hesitant. But he also doesn’t want to ruin Vinny’s future.
“My main problem with this procedure is what is he going to think about it in ten or 15 years time? Because all the bridges are gone. There is no way to come back to female or male. It’s a done deal. And he is young, and now he has to live with it until he is 80 or 90 years old.”
Vinny Ohh grew up in a small Oregon town where he admits he never felt like he belonged.
Ohh has undergone 110 procedures to achieve his current look. These include two rhinoplasties and 35 body and face laser treatments. But the genital removal procedure would be his most dramatic change.
Ohh said, “My goal in regards to my look is to become an exact, scientifically proportioned, sexless human being. People talk about ‘gender reassignment,’ but I’m looking to have ‘gender unassignment.’ I’m looking to change my genitals, so there is nothing there. There will just be a hole to pee out of. I want my genitals removed because life would be easier, plus I’m also celibate.”
